Compare Distances Skated on Each Year

The chart below shows the official total and average daily skating distance for each FinLine inline skating event. Which year has been the toughest so far? Can you see any trends?

The actual distance skated has been traditionally much longer (e.g. +20 %) than the official distance because the route plans have not included all details accurately. This has resulted in definition of a new unit, "FinLine kilometer (FL-km)", referring to the unit of these unrealistic distance estimates. The official distance has been also called as "guaranteed kilometers", which at least you would gain by skating the whole route.

However, in the recent years this "tradition" has been changing so that the realized distance has been pretty close to the official number if any "bonus" or "extra" sections skated are excluded.
